As I walked past these calm waters with the reflection of beautiful colors, I knew that there was something special to be captured.
“As face answers to face in water, So does one man’s heart to another.” Proverbs 27:19
This line from Proverbs compares the reflection on water to the reflection of one’s heart to another. The commentators explain the meaning of this verse to be that when one looks at another in a positive light, with love and acceptance, then the person will indeed act in a positive manner. Just as the colors above the water reflect and create this beautiful photo, so too our outlook on another can reflect back to us to reveal someone even greater than we had known previously.
