Glory

When photographing nature, clouds are often left to be in the background. However, this cloud was so magnificent that I felt it was its own subject. Looking at this photo, I can hear David’s psalm coming to life:
“The heavens declare the glory of G-d, the sky proclaims His handiwork” (Psalms 19:2)
The famous commentator on Psalms known as the Radak explains that perhaps “it is not that the sky itself declares anything, rather that when man looks up at the sky he will come to declare the Glory of G-d.” Inspired by this scene in the sky, I captured its grandeur as my personal declaration of the glory of G-d and His handiwork.
