Flow
Judean Desert

"You make springs gush forth in torrents; they make their way between the hills." (Psalms 104:10)
Within the Judean desert, there is a fascinating phenomenon that occurs. When there is excess rainfall, the water flows from the highlands down towards the Dead Sea, carving out pathways along the way. Capturing this phenomenon with a broader view from above, I noticed that each stream had found its own flow, making its way down with unique patterns. I feel that each of us is like a stream paving our unique paths through life. What this photo teaches me is that my individual path is part of a much larger reality; a reality that is propelled forward by the Reality of all, just as the springs that ‘gush forth and make their way between the hills’.
